Yemisí Aríbisálà has been shortlisted for Food Writer of the Year at the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards 2026, in recognition of work published in Vittles and Scribehound Food.

Aríbisálà is the author of Longthroat Memoirs, a work that examines Nigerian food culture through memory and narrative. Her writing spans food and cultural commentary across literary and journalistic platforms.

The Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards recognise work across writing, broadcasting, and photography, with the shortlist selected by an independent panel from work published or broadcast in 2025. 

Aríbisálà is shortlisted alongside writers working across independent and established publications.
