The SEVHAGE Prizes have unveiled their 2024 longlists for African Literary Criticism, Creative Non-Fiction, and Fiction categories.
Selected from an impressive 857 submissions, these longlists showcase exceptional entries across the three categories. The judging panel, led by Professor Hyginus Ekwuazi, commended the high quality of submissions, noting that many outstanding entries narrowly missed a spot in this year’s longlists due to the competitive nature of the selection process.
