Eni’s Book Club has launched the first edition of the Professor Femi Adeoluwa Essay Prize for students in public secondary schools across Ekiti State.
The essay competition will be held across various public secondary schools in the state, with students participating under the theme: “Education Beyond the Classroom: What Should Young People Be Taught That Schools Currently Ignore?”
Students across participating public secondary schools in the state will compete for prizes totaling ₦3 million, with the winner receiving ₦1.5 million, the first runner-up ₦1 million, and the second runner-up ₦500,000.
The initiative aims to engage young people in conversations about education beyond the traditional classroom system while encouraging critical thinking and writing among secondary school students in the state.
