Chidera Udochukwu-Nduka has been announced as the 2025 Iskanchi Magazine Prize winner for her short story “User Not Found”, emerging as the top writer from a competitive field of submissions from across Africa and the diaspora.
The announcement was made following the release of the prize shortlist:
- João Melo for “The Yellow Peril”
- Chidera Udochukwu-Nduka for “User Not Found”
- Chimezie Okoro for “American Brother”
Chidera Udochukwu-Nduka is a Nigerian-Igbo writer and pharmacist whose work has earned recognition in several literary competitions. She won second prize in the 2024 Dissolution Climate Change Essay Contest organised by LitFest Bergen and has been shortlisted for prizes including the Akachi Chukwuemeka Prize for Literature. Her work has appeared in multiple literary journals and anthologies.
