Ankara Press, in partnership with Cassava Republic, has announced a new literary event titled Inside the Editorial Room, aimed at giving writers direct access to editors and insight into how manuscripts are assessed for publication.
The event is scheduled to be held in Lagos on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Roving Heights, Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The session will allow participants to pitch book ideas to editors and peers while learning more about manuscript development, editorial review, and publishing processes.
An Ibadan edition is also planned, although organisers said details for that session will be announced later.
