The longlist for the CANEX Prize for Publishing has been revealed! Recognizing the publisher of the best African fiction or non-fiction titles, here is list of the books, their authors and its publishing company:

Curated from a 13-man longlist after assessing 85 titles from 45 publishers across 10 countries in Africa, showcasing the rich array of stories that define African publishing. 

The CANEX Prize for Publishing in Africa is a part of the CANEX Book Factory. The CANEX Book Factory is an annual programme of events of the Creative Africa Nexus initiative of African Export – Import Bank (Afreximbank) that is designed to spotlight and elevate the African book value chain through the prize, a Pan-African writing workshop, and an e-newsletter highlighting African literature.
