The Quramo Writers’ Prize, a critical creative component of the Quramo Festival of Words (QFest), is in its ninth year and has produced notable winners such as Chizeterem Chijoke, whose manuscript Dear Zimi was published last year and earned Quramo Publishers recognition on the 2025 CANEX Book Factory Prize shortlist, as well as JAY Lit Managing Editor, Ibrahim Babátúndé Ibrahim who won the prize in 2022.
The winner was unveiled during QFest 2025 at Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos, in a ceremony celebrating literature and African storytelling.
Following the win, What Breaks, What Binds will be published under Quramo Publishers, with release details to be announced in coming months.
