NENTA Literary Journal is inviting submissions from Ghanaian writers for its October publication, with entries open until September 15. The journal, which publishes exclusively from Ghana, is calling for poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and other creative works.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to Ghanaian writers only.
- Submit as a .doc or .docx file, titled after your work.
- Bios are not required at the time of submission.
- No multiple submissions allowed; simultaneous submissions are accepted with prompt withdrawal if accepted elsewhere.
- Previous contributors must wait 16 months before sending new work.
- Payment: Gh¢150 for curated works.
- No submission fees charged.

- Poetry: Up to two poems, any length or form: poetrycurator.nentajournal@gmail.com
- Fiction: One story under 5,000 words: fictioncurator.nentajournal@gmail.com
- Nonfiction: One essay under 5,000 words: nonfictioncurator.nentajournal@gmail.com
- Also accepted: opinion, reviews, criticism, cultural commentary, travel essays, and profiles.
With submissions closing on September 15, NENTA urges Ghanaian poets, storytellers, and essayists to send in their strongest work for a chance to be featured in the October issue.
