Narrative Landscape Press has announced an open call for fiction manuscripts this September. Writers are invited to submit their work between September 1st and September 30th, 2025. Please note that submissions in other genres will not be accepted at this time.
Submission Guidelines
Writers should send an email to submissions@narrativelandscape.com with the subject line:
“Submission [Title of Your Work]”
The email must include:
- A query letter in the body of the email, introducing yourself, explaining why you are contacting the press, and presenting the work in question. A few words on why you are the best fit to write the work are also encouraged.
- A one-page synopsis of the manuscript (as a Word document attachment), clearly outlining the major plot points—including spoilers—and highlighting the key themes.
- A writing sample (as a Word document attachment) consisting of either the first three chapters, the first 50 pages, or the first 10,000 words of the manuscript.
Formatting Requirements
- Double-spaced text
- Indented paragraphs, no extra line spacing
- Left-justified only
- 12-point serif font
- A4 page format
Narrative Landscape assures writers that all submissions will be read. Responses will be sent within eight weeks of submission.

Sarah Adeyemo, SWAN IX, is a Nigerian poet, writer, editor, spoken word artiste and communication expert. The debut author of “The Shape of Silence”. She draws inspiration from solitude and experiences. She is a fellow of the SprinNG Writing Fellowship.
