Inkspires Kreation will host the 2025 edition of its poetry reading event, Sunset Sonata, bringing together Nigerian and Liberian poets for an evening of shared literary expression.
The virtual programme is scheduled for December 21st, 2025, and will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (WAT) on Google Meet.
The event will feature readings of selected poems from various publications, along with brief discussions on the themes and inspirations behind the works. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in conversations and engage with the poets in an informal setting.
Sunset Sonata is organised by Inkspires Kreation as part of its efforts to support and spotlight contemporary African poets. The session aims to create a space for cross-country interaction, particularly between Nigerian and Liberian literary voices.
In preparation for the event, the organisers have opened a WhatsApp group where interested participants can receive updates and follow the countdown to the programme.
The event is open to the public, and all participants can join through Google Meet.
