From June 27 to July 8, 2025, Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will embark on her highly anticipated homecoming tour, celebrating the release of her first novel in 12 years, Dream Count.

The tour will feature exclusive, ticketed book events in Lagos and Abuja, where guests can look forward to intimate evenings of poetry, music, and live readings by Adichie herself. These events promise a unique literary experience, combining storytelling with rich cultural expression.

As part of the tour, Adichie will also travel to Enugu, where she will be a distinguished guest at the inaugural Things Fall Apart Festival, hosted by the Centre for Memories. The festival honors literary heritage and is inspired by Chinua Achebe’s iconic novel.

In Nsukka, Adichie will engage with students and faculty at the University of Nigeria, reflecting her ongoing commitment to education and literary mentorship.

The homecoming tour is not only a celebration of her new work but a heartfelt reconnection with readers and communities across Nigeria.
