Moveee Culture Narratives has opened submissions for a new cycle of long-form essays, calling for deeply personal stories that sit at the intersection of individual experience and collective culture.
Framed as an archive of lived realities, the platform seeks narratives that go beyond surface-level storytelling—essays that treat memory, identity, and experience as intellectual contributions worthy of preservation. Writers are invited to submit pieces between 1,200 and 3,500 words, grounded in honesty, reflection, and narrative clarity.

At the core of the call is a simple but demanding premise: tell a story from your life that reveals something larger than you. Not spectacle, but meaning. Not just experience, but interpretation.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must fall within a word count of 1,200 to 3,500 words.
- All entries should be written as first-person narratives, as the platform does not accept abstract opinion pieces or reviews not grounded in lived experience.
- Only original, previously unpublished work will be considered.
- The submission deadline for this cycle is April 10, 2026.
What Selected Contributors Receive
- Accepted contributors will receive an honorarium of $10 (USD) for each published piece.
- Writers will be granted a complimentary lifetime membership to the Culture Narratives digital platform, offering permanent access to all locked member content, including their own work and future publications.
- Selected works will also be featured in a curated, member-exclusive digital space designed to support focused, immersive reading.
Contributors are encouraged to engage a range of themes, including identity and belonging, ambition and purpose, economic realities, and the evolving nature of relationships. Other areas of interest include personal transformations shaped by faith or mental health, as well as cultural encounters—moments where a book, film, or piece of art shifts one’s understanding of the world.
There is also space for reflections on tradition: how inherited practices, rituals, or events persist, adapt, or fracture in modern life.
