Noisy Streetss has announced a call for submissions to the third edition of its acclaimed anthology, Love in Detty December, inviting African writers to share stories of romance set against the continent’s most electric season.
Born from the vibrant energy of “Detty December”—a time of homecomings, nightlife, and fleeting or lasting love, the project has become a cultural fixture since its first release. Its second edition culminated in A Man and A Woman and Other Stories, the anthology’s debut print collection.
For Volume III, the editors are seeking both fiction and nonfiction that capture the spirit of December love: from short-lived flings to enduring connections. Writers are encouraged to submit bold, authentic work that reflects African experiences and reimagines them in unforgettable ways.
