Lagos Fringe is inviting applications from young Africans to its 2024 Young Critics & Reviewers Residency Program, a unique opportunity for young African art enthusiasts with a passion for critique to hone their skills.
The Lagos Fringe Young Critics & Reviewers Residency Program offers a comprehensive experience for young African art enthusiasts to explore and critically engage with various art forms, including film, visual arts, music, literature, and live performances. Through a combination of virtual workshops and in-person sessions, participants will receive mentorship from established art critics and have opportunities to publish their work.
This program is open to African individuals aged 18 and over, with or without experience in art criticism. As a participant, you’ll have the chance to network with peers across Africa and the diaspora, fostering connections and collaborations that can help launch your career as a critic and arts writer.
