April Centaur has revealed the shortlisted applicants for the second edition of the April Centaur Contest. The applicants who made the list include JAY Lit Issue 7 contributor, Enit’ayanfe Ayosojumi Akinsanya. They are as follows:

The top two contestants, selected by our in-house jury, will be awarded $1000 and $500, respectively. These stories will remain on the website for two weeks, during which the two stories receiving the highest number of constructive comments will earn $300 and $200 each.
In accordance with their mission, AprilCentaur strives to uplift and recognize the often overlooked creative talents among us, those hidden gems who work tirelessly behind the scenes without the recognition they deserve. Their mission as a non-profit is to honour these individuals by providing them with a new and reliable platform, where their hard work and creativity can finally be acknowledged!
