This gripping novel revolves around Idera, the main character, and the emotional journey that begins after her husband’s death. Convinced for ten years that she was his “one and only,” Idera is mourning her true love when an unexpected knock on the door changes everything. Standing there are a mother and a little child—claiming to be her husband’s second family. After the End masterfully captures the complexities of human relationships with its thrilling narrative and unforgettable characters.
Since its establishment in 2018 by Nigerian author Othuke Ominiabohs, Masobe Books has become a leading publishing house in Africa. Its name, derived from the Isoko language meaning “let us read,” reflects its mission to nurture a vibrant community of writers, readers, and literary enthusiasts.
