Building Bridges is a poetry anthology that seeks to provide a platform for stories and voices that have been marginalised, and to celebrate the great diversity and rich variation in the identities and communities of people from around the world and from a huge cross-section of walks of life.
Renard Press is an award-winning independent publisher, launched in June 2020. Covering both classic and contemporary titles, Renard publishes fiction and non-fiction, theatre and poetry; the emphasis is on good writing, properly edited, and our books can be found in convenient modern formats – in a world increasingly lived online – as well as in beautifully designed and well-produced editions.
The winner will be awarded £200, and the runner up will be awarded £100
All of the poems on the shortlist will be published in a volume, everyone included will receive a copy of the book, and will be invited to take part in an online launch event.
Congratulations to Gerald, Raina, and all the poets who made the shortlist!
