The Pan-African Writers Association (PAWA) invites poets from around the world to participate in the virtual PAWA poetry workshop, to be held on 19 July 2026.
10 poets from across Africa will facilitate 10 masterclasses on rhythm, imagery, symbolism, tension, and other Ingredients of a Great Poem.
The two-hour workshop will start at:
- 14:00 hrs GMT
- 15:00 hrs WAT
- 16:00 hrs CAT
- 17:00 hrs EAT
Poets can join the session here.
Entry is free, and all are welcome. Poets are encouraged to extend the invitation to their mates.
