Cassava Republic Press has announced its 2026 manuscript submission windows, inviting writers to submit works across fiction and non-fiction categories.
Submissions will be accepted on a rotating basis throughout the year, beginning with Literary Fiction and Speculative Fiction, which are currently open. Writers in these categories have until 30 June 2026, 23:59 BST to submit their manuscripts.
The publisher will next open submissions for Children’s Fiction and Non-Fiction on 1 September 2026, with a submission deadline of 30 September 2026, 23:59 BST.
Adult Non-Fiction submissions will open on 1 November 2026 and close on 30 November 2026 at 23:59 GMT.

Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are required to submit a 500-word summary of the book that will entice your reader, along with the first three chapters of your manuscript. Your MS should be in the best shape that it can be. DO NOT send a hard copy submission.
Send your sample chapters as a Word attachment saved in the following way: date of submission (dd.mm.yy).firstname. surname.book title. Example:
02.09.23.Yinka.Allen.ToPlayWithFire.doc
The subject of the email should be: Cassava Submission: [Author’s name], [book title]. Example:
Cassava Submission: Yinka Allen, To Play With Fire.
