Award-winning Nigerian speculative fiction writer Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki has secured new literary and media representation, marking a significant step in his global career trajectory.

Ekpeki is now represented for film, television, and media by Vince Gerardis of Starling Inc., the producer of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Gerardis also represents George R.R. Martin, Larry Niven, Joe Haldeman, and the estates of Robert Heinlein, Robert Silverberg, Isaac Asimov, and Terry Pratchett, and is attached to the forthcoming Elden Ring film adaptation.

On the literary front, Ekpeki is represented by Mark Gottlieb, Vice President at Trident Media Group. TMG has long represented acclaimed authors including Kevin J. Anderson, Brian Herbert, Isaac Asimov, Marlon James, and Tom Clancy. Ekpeki’s choice of Gottlieb situates him within a powerful roster of authors who have shaped global literature and popular culture.

A Hugo, Nebula, and Nommo Award-winning author and editor, Ekpeki has become one of the leading voices in African speculative fiction. His works, including the novella O2 Arena and the anthology The Year’s Best African Speculative Fiction, have garnered international recognition for their cultural resonance.

Congratulations, Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki!
