Adamu Yahuza Abdullahi has been announced as one of the finalists of the Garden Party Chapbook Contest 2024 with his book, “Mo(u)rning”.
Garden Party Collective is made of writers who want to create a space that treats publishing as an invitation. Not only do they support the growth and development of authors, but they aim to honour the process with collaboration in each stage—from seedling to germination to full bloom—and everything in between.
Adamu Yahuza Abdullahi, is a poet from Kwara State, Nigeria. He is a Best of the Net Nominee and a second place winner of both the first edition of Hassan Sulaiman Gimba Esq Poetry Prize and the Bill Ward Poetry Prize for Emerging Writers 2023.
He is a lover of books and the people who write them. When he is not reading, he is writing, and when he is not writing he is stuck in the day dreams of Kemanji—his hometown, transforming into one of the renowned cities of the world. His works have appeared or are forthcoming in national & international journals like Synchronized Chaos, Angel Rust, Kalahari Review, Arts Lounge, Teenlit Journal, Pine Cone Review, Mixed Magazine, Borgu Book Club and elsewhere.
Congratulations Adamu!
