The Witsprouts Storytelling Prize is now open, offering storytellers a platform to showcase their creativity and performance skills.
This year’s theme, “Rebooting Legends and Memories,” challenges participants to reimagine classic tales or personal recollections in fresh, engaging ways. Witsprouts, an organization dedicated to promoting storytelling and creative expression, launched this competition to encourage a new generation of storytellers..
To participate, contestants are required to:
- Create a 5–10 minute video narrating an original theatrical piece. The performance should incorporate voice modulation, facial expressions, gestures, choreography, music, and other creative elements to captivate the audience.
- Entries should be uploaded to Instagram, tagging @witsproutsorg and @witsprouts as collaborators.
- Participants must also follow both accounts and use the hashtag #WitsproutsStorytellingPrize in their captions.
The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2025. With the call for entries now open, aspiring storytellers are encouraged to participate and bring their narratives to life!
