Renowned African publishing house Narrative Landscape has announced that several of its most anticipated books are now available for preorder. The announcement, made via X, introduced each title individually, providing blurbs to give potential readers insight into the stories before making a purchase.


Spanning multiple genres—including young adult fiction, romance, and children’s
literature—the selection offers something for every reader. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Dream Count and Zainab Uche Imam’s Love, Lagos and Other Complications explore the lives of Nigerian women navigating societal challenges. Yewande Daniel Ayoade’s The Little Regent and Yejide Kilanko’s The Other Side of Small are engaging, affordable children’s books that impart valuable life lessons and encourage young readers to dream big.

  • A Kind of Madness – Uche Okonkwo: This novel is a collection of short stories centred around characters whose motivations and actions are usually borderline ludicrous.   • Love, Lagos and Other Complications – Zainab Uche Imam: Semilore Coker hasan infuriating encounter with Toluwalase Williams, an entrepreneur. They meet again at a bar in Lagos and although the tension still lingers, sparks fly and a connection begins to form. As Semilore and Toluwalase navigate the nature of their newfound relationship, they must deal with family pressures, personal traumas and other challenges that come their way.
  • House Woman – Adorah Nworah: Ikemefuna believes that a life of luxury and funis waiting for her in “the abroad.” Desperate to win over her in-laws, she’s willing to do anything to please them.   • The Little Regent – Yewande Daniel Ayoade: The little regent is a heartwarming story of the young daughter of the village king. After her father’s death, Abioye is appointed as a regent much to the disapproval of the chiefs. Overwhelmed by her new position, she remembers the words of her late father which were often
    laced with wisdom. She goes out of her way to help the people even if it isn’t the traditional way of doing things.
  • The Rewrite – Lizzie Damilola Blackburn: Wale and Temi meet in London and fall in love with each other. All is well in paradise until Wale dumps her so he can be on a TV show, Love villa. Instead of giving into heartbreak, Temi throws herself
