Narrative Landscape Press has announced the upcoming publication of The Re-Write, the highly anticipated second novel by Lizzie Damilola Blackburn, author of the bestselling Yinka, Where Is Your Huzband?

The Re-Write follows Temi, a young woman navigating the aftermath of a breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Wale. After their relationship ends, Wale unexpectedly appears on a reality dating show, leaving Temi to grapple with her emotions. Determined to move forward, Temi focuses on her dream of becoming a published author. However, when her novel faces repeated rejections and financial pressures mount, she takes on a ghostwriting project for a celebrity memoir—only to discover that the celebrity is none other than Wale.

The novel poses a compelling question: Will Temi and Wale fall back into old patterns, or can they rewrite their story? Blackburn’s signature blend of humor, relatable characters, and poignant themes is expected to resonate with fans of her debut, Yinka, Where Is Your Huzband?, which garnered widespread acclaim for its fresh and engaging narrative.

In a statement, Narrative Landscape Press expressed their excitement about publishing Blackburn’s second novel, calling it a “brilliant exploration of love, ambition, and second chances.”
