The Ibua Publishing House has recently unveiled the authors longlisted for the Ibua 2024 Manuscript Project. The authors longlisted for the project are as follows:
- Cuthbert Magara (Wakiso, Uganda)
- David Ngumi (Nairobi, Kenya)
- Doreen Anyango (Kampala, Uganda)
- Gladwell Pamba (Nairobi, Kenya)
- Gordon Anjili (Njoro, Kenya)
- Muthoni wa Gichuru (Nairobi, Kenya)
- Owen Mushabe (Kampala, Uganda)
- Peter Ngila Njeri (Nairobi, Kenya)
The longlisted authors were selected from over 37 novel manuscript submissions who explored East Africa through their creative eyes and writing.
Established in 2018, Ibua Publishing is a dynamic and vibrant publishing house that serves as a home of African stories and storytellers. They are dedicated to amplifying African narratives and they strive to empower both established and emerging storytellers living on the continent to curate their African story while cultivating a global appreciation for African literature.
