Narrative Landscape Press has officially opened its submissions window for fiction manuscripts, welcoming writers throughout the month of March.
The publisher, which reads submissions twice a year—March and September—welcomes completed fiction manuscripts from both new and established authors.
To submit, writers should send an email to submissions@narrativelandscape.com with the subject line “Submissions [title of your work].” The email must include:
- A query letter in the body of the email introducing the author, explaining why they chose Narrative Landscape Press, and providing a brief overview of the work, including why they’re the best fit to write it.
- A one-page synopsis attached as a Word document, detailing all major plot points (including spoilers) and optionally touching on the work’s themes.
- A sample of the manuscript—either the first three chapters, the first 50 pages, or the first 10,000 words, whichever is longest—attached as a Word document.
Manuscripts and samples must follow specific formatting guidelines to accommodate the Press needs: double-spaced, indented paragraphs with no space between them, left-justified, 12-point serif font (Courier New preferred), on A4 paper.
The publisher currently accepts only fiction submissions and is not considering unsolicited poetry, drama, or nonfiction. The submission window closes on March 31st, 2025.
